INSULATION TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING RESEARCH CENTER OF STATE LEVEL
In 2018, Rox has became a member of China Federation of mechanical industry, and the Engineering Research Center of Medium-High Voltage Solid Composite Insulation of Mechanic Industries by China Machinery Industry Federation was officially put into operation. The main work of research is to carry out reliable test and to optimize insulation material and structures for medium and high voltage switchgear. The core subject comes from the problems and difficulties existing in insulation materials and insulation structures in the industry. The main target is to deal with the difficulties by doing deep research on insulation materials and structures that affecting the reliability of switchgear.

Insulation engineering, testing center
1. Environmental stability:
UV, salt spray, acid-base chemical reagent and pollution test
2. Installation and sealing performance:
appearance, size and leakage rate
3. Temperature and thermal stability:
glass transition temperature, cold and heat cycle, cold and heat shock, low/high temperature test
4. Mechanical properties:
stretching, bending, twisting, compression, water pressure, and air pressure
5. Insulation performance:
appearance and coloring test, 1-minute power frequency withstand voltage, partial discharge, lightning impulse, X-ray flaw detection
6. Aging performance:
partial discharge withstand voltage level after 30 cold and hot cycles, performance test after aging such as electric heating and humidity, and thermal stability test
New product development
1. Reasonable suggestions on the selection of epoxy materials are given from the perspective of product application occasions
2. The optimal design scheme of product structure is put forward from the perspective of epoxy material characteristics
3. Partial discharge is difficult for epoxy products. Combined with many years of design and manufacturing experience, a reasonable and feasible scheme is given, so as to greatly shorten the product development cycle
SCHOOL-ENTERPRISE COOPERATION ACCELERATES RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Rox cooperates closely with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Van Jiao Tong University, East China University of Science and Technology, XIHARI. It has established a joint research center for school and enterprise with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and East China University of science and technology.
Great achievements have been made in theoretical research, material formulation, production and industrial application of electrical insulation system.
